STATEMENT
Hello! My name is Patrick Berner, and I am running for re-appointment as Chair of the Population Health SIG. With a long history of involvement in these spaces and a deep commitment to advancing equitable health and rehab outcomes, I am uniquely positioned to continue leading the SIG.
Physical therapist involvement in population health, in addition to providing more client-centered care, is crucial for the advancement of our profession. My vision is to foster a dynamic group that can connect, exchange ideas, and collectively create and disseminate resources for improved community engagement and improved client outcomes for all. I continue to also plan for engagement and collaboration among all APTA components for our efforts.
Thank you!
