Lamp Management 101: Practical Skills, is a two-day course that is the first offering in this content area by the Health Policy and Administration Section Lamp Committee.

Content areas include:

  • performance management
  • human resources
  • legal considerations
  • regulatory aspects
  • compliance issues

This case study and scenario-based course will examine current issues and address current trends faced by the new or developing manager. It will also provide attendees with the tools to effectively and efficiently get the work done through systems and people. Prior to the course, attendees will complete a management self-assessment and review selected supporting materials.

This offering is valuable for all physical therapy professionals (PTs and PTAs) regardless of their administrative or managerial role: practice owners, clinicians, educators, researchers, and students who want to develop their administration and management effectiveness and efficiency.

This activity has been approved for 1.7 CEUs.
