Join/Renew ALI Membership
The APTA Academy of Leadership and Innovation (ALI) is a component of the
American Physical Therapy Association, a national professional organization representing more than 75,000 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students.
Its goal is to foster advancements in physical therapy practice, research, and education.
Membership in ALI is restricted to:
- Individuals who are either members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and meet APTA's eligibility requirements. Individuals
may join ALI at the same time they join APTA or they may join ALI at a later date.
- International PTs and PTAs who are ineligible from joining APTA (Partner Program Members)
All applications for membership or membership renewal are handled through the American Physical Therapy Association's central office in Alexandria, Virginia.
