PT Proud, a Special Interest Group (SIG) under the APTA Academy of Leadership and Innovation (APTA ALI), was founded by joint efforts of DPT students and PT professionals, evolving from a Catalyst Group in 2017, to a Committee in 2018, to a SIG in 2023. Our journey began with our first presentation at CSM 2018 in New Orleans, and since then, we’ve continued to grow our membership and presence within the APTA.
