Catalyst Groups (CGs)

Catalyst Groups serve as collection points for smaller groups of members who have an interest in an idea or initiative not represented adequately in other segments of APTA or the Academy of Leadership and Innovation. These groups are informal networks of individual members with a shared interest in exploring a topic or interest area relevant to the profession of physical therapy.

Global Health SIG

Focus on health equity, cultural determinants of health, and service-learning both in the United States and abroad.

Focus on improving health care access for LGBTQIA+ patients, as well as empowering LGBTQIA+ students, faculty and clinicians within the physical therapy profession to influence health and well-being that is specific to sexual and gender minority populations.
