From over 30 submissions, five finalist entrepreneurs were chosen to pitch their game-changing ideas, products and solutions as part of the first-ever Annual Physical Therapy Shark Tank. It all happened live and in front of 230 viewers on January 30, 2024.
The event reached attendees in 32 different states, as well as Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. It was exciting to hear the engagement from the judges and the panelists, as well as the enthusiasm and positive support from those in the audience.
The winner will be revealed in-person at the APTA ALI Business Meeting on February 16 in Boston and will receive $25,000 of Innovation Lab services to accelerate their product to commercialization.
This spectacular event was a collaborative effort of the APTA Academy of Leadership and Innovation and Innovation Labs, who want to empower innovators to showcase their ideas and advance the profession of physical therapy.
