Quarterly President's Message

Following our recent Summer Leadership Meeting, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the extraordinary dedication and vision demonstrated by our leadership team. It is truly inspiring to witness the passion and commitment each of member brings to advancing our mission and shaping the future of our profession.

Our Board has recently made several thoughtful and, at times, difficult decisions to ensure the long-term financial stability of the Academy. These decisions were not made lightly, but with a clear focus on sustaining our impact and empowering our members for years to come.

We are also excited to share that the Academy has been diligently working on several transformative motions for this year’s House of Delegates. These initiatives reflect our collective drive to lead meaningful change and elevate the physical therapy profession on the national landscape.

In addition, we have established a new Education Committee, designed to foster the sharing of knowledge and best practices across our Academy. This committee will serve as a vital conduit for collaboration, learning, and innovation among our members.



It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as President of such a dynamic and forward-thinking Academy. The strength of our organization lies in the unity and synergy among our committees, special interest groups, and catalyst groups—all working together to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals and communities around the world.

We are the advocates. We are the leaders. We are the innovators who will drive the nexus of change in healthcare.
