of emerging trends and best practices in our field! Jon us to connect with others, plug in to what's happening at the forefront of our field and move the needle forward together! Opportunities to Connect
More information about each of these channels appears below.
Connect With Like-Minded Peers:
APTA has a membership directory that can be filtered for ALI members. We have noticed, however, only a fraction of ALI members are included. This is an opt-in list. If you are not already, please consider revisiting your settings and opting in.
APTA Academy of Leadership and Innovation has some the field's top leaders working on emerging topics in PT and talking about how these impact practice. This is facilitated through our structure of Catalyst Groups (CGs) and Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
Listservs are general purpose email lists that are great for asking questions, sharing interests and spreading information quickly to your peers. When asking or replying to a question on the ALI members-only listserv, you are automatically connected to
all listserv members through one, central email address.
More information to come!
Joining the conversation on ALI social media accounts is a great way to grow your name recognition and network, and to nurture relationships over time. Follow us: Note that our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) also have a separate social media presence, so you may be interested in connecting with them, as well.
ALI periodically hosts online events such as webinars and townhalls, so watch our online calendar of events for upcoming sessions. These represent not only a great place to learn, but also a great place to connect with colleagues
who hold similar interests!
Just as education sessions such as webinars and townhalls allow for connecting with your peers, so do our LAMP certification programs. Even better, perhaps, is the LAMP Leadership Institute programming takes place in-person in small groups up to 20 participants. And the baked-in Keeping the LAMP Lit group facilitates ongoing networking among past participants.
APTA's annual Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) is such an amazing in-person experience every year - the education, the networking, the fun... Oh my! ALI holds pre-conference tracks, as well as program sessions during the meeting. Be sure to attend, and while on-site be sure to take advantage of connecting with us at our booth, at our reception and at our programming!
