2022 LAMPLighter Award Winner

Sean Bagbey, PTA, ATC, MHA

This year’s LAMPLighter Award winner is Sean Bagbey, PTA, ATC, MHA, is the COO of Rehabilitation & Performance Institute, a PT-PTA owned rehabilitation company and is the Co-Chair for the HPA LAMP Leadership Committee. Sean is a huge role model for PTAs through his consistent dedication to the profession and the leadership roles he’s upheld. He has had such a significant impact on the PTA community.

One of his letters of recommendations reads “Outside of our section, Sean has also been in leadership roles in the APTA Indiana Chapter most recently as chair of their awards committee. In addition, he has been active in the PTA caucus for many years, and is a current PTA caucus delegate. In 2017, he was acknowledged as APTA’s Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant of the Year.”

Another supporter stated “Sean is calm, compassionate, and is always looking for ways to put others first. He’s been vital to our committee in scheduling courses which you can imagine in this time is challenging. This has been a huge undertaking with trying to regain ground after not being able to have in person learning. I am beyond grateful to have gotten to know Sean. He’s the leader you dream of to have in your corner. Quiet when he needs to be, right there next to you when you need it.”
