About the Webinar

The time is now to discuss how all health professionals can work collaboratively to improve immunizations rates. Integrated care models of today promote collaboration to maximize health professional resources with the goal of improving health outcomes. Immunizations are an example of an effective intervention which have reduced or eliminated many diseases, thus improving the overall health of our communities. Providers who do not give the shot often ask, “What is my role on a primary care immunization team?”

This webinar will offer a new lens on an interprofessional approach to improving health outcomes through vaccination recommendation. Learn more about your role in primary prevention as related to immunizations and demonstrate to your patients/clients that you are invested in their overall health.

Educational Objectives:

  • Communicate the importance of expanding the traditional immunization primary prevention team.
  • Recognize opportunities for interprofessional collaboration in primary prevention related to immunizations.
