About the Webinar
Join us for a panel discussion where attendees will have the opportunity to hear leadership lessons learned from LAMP faculty through the COVID-19 pandemic. An informal format will allow participants to ask questions and share leadership experiences through this unique time. Take this opportunity to reconnect with LAMP leadership concepts and focus on how to apply them to your rapidly-changing work environment. Attendees will be encouraged to give feedback on what tools LAMP can provide remotely while in-person sessions are on hold due to COVID restrictions.
About the Panelists:
Sean Bagbey, PTA, ATC, MHA, is the Chief Operations Officer, Vice Present, and Co-founder of Rehabilitation & Performance Institute (RPI). RPI is a Multistate Physical Therapy company that is owned solely by PT’s and PTA’s that are focused on their mission of bring health and happiness to the communities that they serve. In his day to day role Sean over sees the six clinics as well as the industrial outreach of RPI.
Sean, a native of Evansville, IN, graduated from University of Evansville in 2002 with his bachelor’s in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, and Associates in Physical Therapy Assistance. Following graduation, he has completed his master’s in health service administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
Sean has been an active member of the Physical Therapy profession by serving in several roles with in the American Physical Therapy Association at the Chapter, Section, and National level. He currently serves in a national elected position as a Delegate to the APTA House of Delegates as a member of the PTA Caucus. Sean has the honor of being selected as the 2017 APTA PTA of the year.
Keri Dickinson, PT, is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro Massachusetts. She has 23 years of clinical experience in both acute and outpatient areas all with in the Sturdy organization. She transitioned to the Director role in 2012.
A 1997 graduate of Northeastern University, Keri, along with day to day operations has strived to bring the Rehabilitation Department to all aspects of the organization through committee involvement, engaging staff in interdepartmental education, and working with Senior Leadership on Organizational Quality and Improvement.
Keri has been a member of the APTA since 2012, and HPA the catalyst since 2019 after attending LAMP 101 in Washington DC. She completed LAMP 201 in Denver, and 301 this May.
David Wessells, MPT, MHA, currently serves as the Program Manager for Sports and Orthopedic Therapies at Nationwide Children’s Hospital where he has worked for the past 7 years. David has experience managing multi-site teams including strategic planning, financial management, physician relations, recruitment, expansion planning/building design, and billing/coding. David graduated with BS in Psychology in 1997 from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, obtained his Master of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 1999, and his MHA from Ohio University in August 2018. As a faculty member for the LAMP Leadership Academy, David teaches leadership skills nationally to healthcare professionals. David has been active in healthcare advocacy, previously serving as the Federal Affairs Liaison for the Ohio chapter of the APTA, and as a member of the OPTA State Affairs Committee. David is also engaged at Northwestern serving as President of the Northwestern University PT Alumni Association.
