Poise. So often in our day to day we get caught off guard- whether it’s unexpected news from a patient, a quick meeting with a coworker or boss, or just plain life happening, being able to balance and respond to those pressures is an important trait to have today! I think it also taps into the idea of being able to absorb some of those pressures, deflect the less timely/important issues, and control our fatigue, both emotional and physical

Agreed. Poise and the ability to maintain a clear mind routed to foundational principles of leadership in whatever circumstance present themselves is key. A difficult balance to strike between that and not becoming too attached to protocols, detachment, or passivity in order to reduce pressure on yourself as the leader
